Three One Two is doing tons of bridal previews at the moment + we thought it would be a great opportunity for us to talk hair accessories! One of the most frequently asked questions is “What do you think of something in my hair...like a pin of some sort?” Keep scrolling + get our opinion… you don’t want to miss out on some free goodies from our 2 top bridal IG hair accessory accounts do you?!
The answer is yes! We LOVE us some extra dazzle to the hair! Most brides choose to wear a veil for the ceremony and often, some don’t. Whether you choose a veil or skip the tradition, having a little something in the hair keeps you with that extra bridal feel. If you plan to wear your hair up or down, even the most simple accessory can make all the difference in your overall look.
Let’s start with your dress. If it’s simple, yet classic - we feel you can wear something a bit more bold, a statement hair piece to offset the simplicity of the dress. Let’s say you’re dress is already bejeweled or very lacy - keeping it simple with your hair accessory choice would work best. You want to keep a good balance between the two.
Now, lets talk about your desired hair style for your big day! Here’s just a few of our fave looks…
Hair down, loose waves with one side pinned back. We feel you can’t go wrong with this simple yet glamorous look. Throw a pin of your choice + bam, that look just got taken up a few notches!
Wanting to go all up? Whether it’s a textured bun OR something sleek, placing an accessory off-center to one side is EL-E-GANT!
Another great “in between” look is half up-half down. Who doesn’t love loose romantic waves?! With this style, we are all about a half halo piece. This would wrap the back portion of the hair + make a huge statement.
Flower power! If you’re a florally kinda bride, we highly recommend chatting with your florist. They can put together a gorgeous piece that compliments your flowers for your big day! A lot of times they can attach them to a pin or clip of your choice for easy application. Of course, we can always pin solo in your hair too.
Finally, a fave of ours that is seemingly everywhere right now, is a great headband! You can rock that no matter what your hairstyle may be = BONUS!
